It's the Little Things

Often in life, I have chosen to look at the looming things yet to be done, the painful difficulties of the past, or stressful situations in the present.

If there's one thing that I know more than ever, it is the be present in each moment. There are so many things that have come together for me to be able to go to Tanzania this summer, little things...

I am worried about getting enough financial support to sustain myself and the project in Lutindi, but I have faith in knowing that this is what I am meant to do. I have meet people with connections to very beneficial resources like Swahili teachers, the founder of Urban Farming, leaders in food corporations, and health insurance options.

This really has been the coolest experience to see all of the little things come together for the greater purpose of achieving my goals and dreams of food security and sustainability in Africa.

I think I have a new t-shirt design idea for a well-known brand, "Maisha ni nzuri." - "Life is good."
